We at Drone Rush would like to wish you a Happy Holidays!

Drone Rush Happy Holidays 2020

It was a decently great year to be a drone pilot. We were excited for some of the machines that hit the market in 2020, we didn’t get to fly as much as previous years, but we know that many of you did. Perhaps you got an early and long break from school, perhaps you took some time off of work to spend with family, either way, I noticed more drones in the skies in my neighborhood than ever before.

Thank you all for joining us on the adventures of drone flight, we hope we can continue to grow with you next year and beyond.

Best drone deals

DJI Mavic Mini for $369

After the launch of the DJI Mini 2, the price of the original mini is down a little. We are consistently seeing the DJI Mavic Mini for $369, and often for $359. If 2.7K video is good enough for you, we can’t think of a better drone under $400. If you are set on getting a 4K drone, the DJI Mini 2 is $449, and is absolutely worth checking out.

DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 for $1519

The DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 is (still) the latest and greatest consumer Phantom drone on the market. This powerful machine is both a capable flying camera and a powerful airframe for hauling other payloads. Make no mistake, the DJI Mavic 2 Pro is just as capable at being a flying camera, and costs a little less, but it’s a much smaller airframe. If you’re looking for a flying camera, research both of these drones, if you are looking to haul any sort of payload, the Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 is your best bet.

PowerVision PowerEgg X for $799 – $1099

The PowerVision PowerEgg X was one of the coolest drones launched at CES 2020. This machine is a decently capable 4K camera drone in its default configuration, but then you can install a waterproof housing to keep flying when the weather is not cooperating, plus, attach the landing gear to try your hand at flying from water. But wait, there’s more! The PowerEgg X comes with the hardware to turn the drone into a hand-held video camera. The object tracking capabilities keep your subject in frame over an impressive range, so you can attach the drone to a tripod and perform for your friends and family.
