DJI FPV Goggles V2
The DJI FPV Goggles V2 are made for the DJI FPV drone, providing a high-quality, low-latency first person view from the camera on your drone.
March 2021Release Date
DJI first launched a VR headset back in 2017. The DJI Goggles were a feature packed headset, even including a full HDMI port to accept any video signal. Version 1 of the FPV Goggles launched in 2019, alongside a camera module to turn anything into a fun FPV experience. The DJI FPV Goggles V2 are included with the DJI FPV drone, which launched in March 2021, rocking a fun look and providing a clean VR experience to enjoy FPV flight.
The DJI FPV displays and records video at 1440×810, and can save the video independently of the video capture on the drone itself. Both use a microSD card.
The Goggles are well balanced, using the three-strap head strap, you can control how you want the headset to sit on your face, and how tight it is.
The DJI FPV Goggles V2 have an opening big enough to accommodate glasses wearers, and the interpupillary distance sliders ease the strain on the eyes for folks with different face widths.
The view inside this headset is solid. The display is clean, high-quality enough to enjoy the view, not too bright, and the face padding sits well, at least for us, so you get a clear view of the display. We can’t really show you this, but we’ll try to figure out how to attach our camera and upload those images when possible.
